The following review written by one of the Software Informer contributors applies to version 3.2
4Media iPhone Transfer is a tool that allows you to back up your iPhone. This application is highly dependent on iTunes for the detection of your iPhone. If you don't have it installed when the application runs for the first time, it will open up a web browser for you to download iTunes. Once iTunes is installed and run at least once, 4Media iPhone Transfer can detect your iPhone. It will then allow you to transfer pretty much everything in it to your computer for backup or other purposes.
When 4Media iPhone Transfer successfully connects to an iPhone it will allow you to send data both ways. It will list the name of the iPhone and under that a few categories such as Music, Movies, your playlists and Photos. You can't back up up apps or anything like that. When you find a file that you want to transfer back to your PC, you simply have to check it and click on either "Export to local computer" or "Export to iTunes". You can also send files from your PC to the iPhone. 4Media iPhone Transfer supposedly can load movies and music to your iPhone, but it didn't work for me. I added files and nothing happened. The rest of the features worked well. |
